To enhance its style as a “Vintage Radio Station” reminiscent of the presentation styles of the 1960s and 70s, Steam Fair FM has purchased a set of classic radio jingles.
PAMS of Dallas were the leading radio jingle producer in the sixties, supplying major market US stations, the UK radio ships, and later BBC Radio 1 and 2.
The cuts chosen are identical to those used on WABC New York in 1966, and in the UK on “Swinging Radio England”, or KLIF in Dallas, and “Wonderful Radio London” in the UK.
